GUITARS:
I have a wide range of guitars that I use on and off the stage. All of the Fenders, Squires and Statocaster guitars have a Dimazio HS-3 bridge pickup and a YJM neck pickup. The Kramer guitars have a Seymore-Duncan SH4 and have a Floyd Rose tremelo system. The custom "Mr Scary" guitar has a Seymore-Duncan 'hotrails' pickup in it. This is my baritone guitar. The guitar is 2 3/4 inches thick (very heavy) but it has a fantastic bass tone. It also has a Floyd Rose. One of my favourite guitars has got to be the Ibanez Floral. This is the real thing. I bought it in late 1988, one of the first to hit Oz. To this day, this gem is still original and it plays fast. The rest of my collection are stock standard and they've been fantastically maintained in great working order by none other than the best, Brendan Mason at RealGuitars in Glen Iris, Melbourne.
I also have been using a Jackson Dinky" Skull pit". The more I play it, the more I'm adjusting to it and love playing it. I'm in the middle of a project at the moment painting a Jem body in fluro yellow with black swirl through it and I've ordered 2 custom pickups from Dimarzio. Hot pink Evo's for the bridge and neck and I'll be placing a Dimarzio "Hot Rails" in the centre. Pictures I've been running this Marshall JCM800 combo since 1985 and has never let me down. This amp gets the best treatment from the one and only David Ulbrik himself, a long time personal friend of mine who also sold me my first electric guitar (all those years ago...1980) Who now is the director and manufacturer of the mighty ULBRIK Amps. I also have a 12" x 4 Sovtek quad box for that extra volume to kick some arse.

Lately I've tried the MARSHALL Mode4 , but it didn't suit my playing or the songs MEDUSA plays, so I've hunted down a 1971 MARSHALL Plexi 100Watt head and a 1973 MARSHALL 100watt cab A. This rig is ideal for me .....at this point in time. What an unbelievable sound this gives out. I was getting something like it with my combo but not as loud and grunty...All I can say is ...WOW!!

EFFECTS:
I use the Boss GT-6 effect processor and the Roland GP-8. Now this might be a bit old but it's easy to use and has got some great sounds. I also have on hand the old trusty Boss pedals for just in case I like to attack my sound with a slightly fatter sound. The pedal board consists of - Ibanez Compressor/Limiter DOD YJM308 Boss CS-3 Boss MT-2 Boss OD-2 Boss GE-7 x2 Boss PH-2 Boss DD-3 Boss NS-2 Boss TU-12 Dunlop Cry Baby whah pedal Behringer PB1000 pedal board Samson bug wireless Nady wireless I also use Dunlop 2mm picks so they don't flap in the wind. For the strings, only one brand, the only brand that I've been using for the past 32 years of playing....D'Adarios' .009-.46.

COMMENTS:
Many people keep asking me "Why do you have so many guitars"?  My answer is- I collect guitars and I find them all different in a strange way.  If I had a sponsorship with one of these guitar manufacturers then I think I would open a shop. My current rig is very simple and easy to set up.  I don't want complications with it so if anyone can come up with a Marshall head combined with Boss technology in it, let me know.

BASSES:
Squier P-basses, both black with Badass2 bridges and DiMarzio "Split-P" pickups.
AMPS:
Peavy Pro-bass 1000 pre-amp/Eminar E-250 power amp This stuff is starting to show it's age but it has been a bullet proof combination for a lot of hard yards.
EFFECTS:
I don't run any effects in my rig. I run a Nady 201 wireless system and an A/B box which switches to a Boss TU12 Tuner (take some advice people, a tuner is a must).
COMMENTS:
Some of my gear is really starting to show it's age. I'm hoping to upgrade my amp later this year. I was hoping to already have done that, but I had to spend the money on new basses instead.

My EV cabinets, I wouldn't swap for anything. They have done so many hard yards it's not funny & they have never (touch wood) ever let me down yet. I absolutely swear by them.
